  My friend had just got home from the hospital after getting her broken leg "seen to", so I take the dog and embark on the 20 minute walk to her place. 
  Doggy squats and does what dogs do best -we'd all be pooping in public if we could get away with it. Being the responsible citizen and dog owner that I am, out comes the poo bag. Tying off the warm, squidgy laden bag, I can breathe easy once more. Then as I approach one of the few remaining public bins in the country, what's this I spy right on top, just about where I would ordinarily aim the bag of turds??
  It's a pharmacy bag that's very obviously full. Never one to let an opportunity pass me by, I swap my bag for the crisp white paper bag with the instantly recognisable green cross. My heart's a-racing as I instinctively check all  around me before surreptitiously opening it up and stealing a quick glance inside (just to check it's not full of razor blades, more poop or maybe all my aspirations, broken dreams and personal failings (I know they're somewhere waiting for the optimum moment to slap me in the face at a time of unparalleled inconvenience).
  I am disappoint!! 😕 It's bloody Tramadol!!

I've never understood why anyone would bother with this stuff. You're better off with plain old paracetamol. It doesn't even suppress a cough. It's hard to understand how it can even be called an "opioid".
  Anyways, I'm thinking my friend is opiate naive so she might make use of them, being as she has a hurty leg. When I ask her she immediately rejects the idea.. she's just going to have a spliffola. 
  I would have had better luck leaving them where they were and giving her the bag of dog shit instead. That's all they're good for - filling bins. 

TRAMADOL 

     is technically an opioid and them thinking  that is undoubtedly why people rate it. It's not because it really has any of those "opiate" type effects. That's not a matter of opinion, it's cold hard facts. What muddies the waters and their perception of what I like to call a plastic opioid is that it's more of an antidepressant than a painkiller. It promotes the production of serotonin (much like MDMA) and is even used for this purpose in some places. So because largely opiate naive people are feeling good and taking a drug that has been (only in certain countries) deemed a "narcotic" or a controlled/scheduled drug, they mistakenly assume the effects are those of an opiate.. when they're just on SRIs (antidepressants). Even the rare occurrences of nausea/vomiting are due to the serotonin..🤨

   As a painkiller, it's OK if you're a hamster, a squirrel or maybe a rabbit. That's seriously what it's used for and you have to wonder..if those animals could speak, would they also be telling us how crap it is?

 *Opioid action is unlikely the sole factor; tramadol's analgesic effects/inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine due to its action on the noradrenergic and serotonergic systems, such as its "atypical" opioid activity./Tramadol is well-established as an SRI. In addition, a few studies have found that it also acts as a serotonin releasing agent (1–10 μM), similar in effect to fenfluramine

*Nausea and vomiting caused by tramadol are thought to be due to activation of the 5-HT3 receptor via increased serotonin levels.

 *Boko Haram member: "whenever we took tramadol, nothing mattered to us anymore except what we were sent to do because it made us very high and very bold, it was impossible to go on a mission without taking it."

 *Tramadol may be used to treat post-operative, injury-related, and chronic (e.g., cancer-related) pain in dogs and cats as well as rabbits, coatis, many small mammals including rats and flying squirrels, guinea pigs, ferrets, and raccoons.

  *In the US, Tramadol (tramadol systemic) is a member of the drug class narcotic analgesics and is used to treat Anxiety, Back Pain, Chronic Pain, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Pain, Restless Legs Syndrome, Syringomyelia and Vulvodynia.

🤔Thoughts.

Dear F.D.A.🇺🇸 please don't invade our country and give is any of your "freedom". I'm thinking specifically of the type that has you incarcerate more people than any other nation on the planet. If they survive that experience, having repaid their debt to society, they no loher have any of the "democratic rights" you insist we must have. No offence is intended so please at least take a day or two to think before you start chucking missiles and warheads at us, 

 Now this is only an idea and probably a silly one.. just thought maybe if prescribing doctors weren't influenced by the potential "perks" and comission they receive, had mandatory prescribing guidelines to follow with their patient's wellbeing taking priority above all else, perhaps when appropriate and affordable treatment is in place, perhaps maintaining a productive and satisfying life could be an option. 

Substance abuse, like shopping, excessive spending, gambling, and such negative habitual behaviours are (as a rule) a way of escaping agonies (physical, emotional, spiritual, practical or otherwise) too awful that they could otherwise live with.

I know it's a little ridiculous but each time a kid watched everybody and everything they know and love decimated before their eyes, you create a new enemy, who will pass the reins to their own offspring. This is Washington's argument. Those people who are so burned they're unrecognisable from no longer a livestock
